A wonderful traditional style coat from the Central Asian regions of northern Afghanistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan that is traditionally called a Chapan. This chapan is hand made of silk and cotton fabric and has a cotton and poly blend lining. This style Chapan is traditionally worn as a cloak with the sleeves draped along the back. This piece is great for wearing as a cover up or costume attire. This Chapan measures width across back 20 inches. Length from collar to bottom hem 38 inches. Sleeve length is 28 inches from shoulder seam to cuff. Sleeve circumference at widest point is 14 inches and the circumference at wrist is 10 inches.
